About Us

Academic Excellence

A CBSE-aligned programme delivered through activity, enquiry and application — with class sizes small enough for a teacher to notice when a child is lost.

At Bhaktivedanta Model School, academic excellence is at the core of our mission. We focus on delivering high-quality education that empowers students to achieve their best while cultivating a love for lifelong learning.

How that is delivered

CBSE curriculum

BMS follows a comprehensive CBSE syllabus designed to foster critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills.

Result-oriented approach

With consistent effort, our students achieve strong results in board examinations and competitive tests.

Innovative teaching methods

Through project-based learning, AI integration and hands-on activities, we make academics relevant and exciting.

Teacher training

Regular professional development ensures that our faculty are equipped with the latest teaching techniques and approaches.

Student-centric focus

We provide tailored academic support for students of varying levels, helping each one to achieve their full potential.

How a lesson is built

Every unit, in every subject, moves through the same four stages. Teachers plan to it and are observed against it.

  1. Experience

Meet the idea first through an activity, a material, a demonstration or a field visit.

  2. Conceptualise

Name it, define it precisely, and connect it to what the child already knows.

  3. Analyse

Test it, question it and reason through it critically.

  4. Apply

Use it in an unfamiliar situation. Learning ends in application, not recall.

What sits alongside the syllabus

  • Lilavati Ganit — mental and speed mathematics, taught for accuracy and self-checking
  • Sanskrit across all grades, strengthening grammar and etymology in every language
  • Yoga and mallakhamb for strength, balance and attention
  • Art, craft, music and dance as timetabled subjects, not optional extras
  • Integrated cross-subject projects and field-based learning each term
  • A primary English series, science worksheets and history readers written in-house

Published in-house

Our faculty have written a primary English series, science worksheets and supplementary history books for Grades VI and VII. Two other schools now use them.

Come and see the school on an ordinary day — call the office and we will keep someone free to walk you around.
