Art & Craft Room

A messy-work room for drawing, painting, clay, paper and textile craft — a timetabled subject, not a club.

Art plays a pivotal role in holistic education, fostering creativity, expression and emotional growth. At Bhaktivedanta Model School, our Art & Craft Centre is a dynamic space where students are encouraged to explore their artistic talents and let their imaginations soar.

Regular classes invite students to experiment with diverse mediums such as clay modelling, tie and dye, painting and sculpting, transforming their ideas into tangible pieces. Exposure to the work of renowned national and international artists inspires students to develop their own artistic voice and perspective.

Art competitions give students a platform to show their creativity and gain recognition, and exhibitions of their work are held through the year. These activities enhance fine motor skills while cultivating a refined sense of aesthetics and an outlet for emotional expression.

Art and craft nurtures creativity and contributes significantly to the overall personality development of our students, helping them become innovative thinkers and confident individuals.
