Counselling Room
A private room and a trained counsellor, available to any child who asks and to any parent who is worried.
At Bhaktivedanta Model School we recognise that emotional well-being is fundamental to a child's academic success and overall development. Our dedicated Counselling Room provides a safe, confidential and nurturing environment where students can freely express their thoughts, emotions and concerns.
The school has a qualified and experienced full-time counsellor, with a separate, well-equipped counselling space to ensure privacy, comfort and meaningful interaction. Students receive age-appropriate guidance on academic concerns, emotional well-being, interpersonal relationships, behavioural development and career awareness.
Regular counselling sessions, life-skills programmes, mindfulness and meditation activities and awareness workshops help students develop self-confidence, emotional resilience, effective decision-making skills and positive coping strategies. Parents and teachers are also guided, as needed, to ensure a collaborative approach to every child's growth.
In alignment with the principles of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the counselling programme nurtures self-awareness, mental well-being, empathy and responsible citizenship, empowering every learner to thrive with confidence, compassion and balance.
