A working mathematics and geography room: manipulatives, geometric models, measuring instruments, maps and globes.
The Mathematics Laboratory at Bhaktivedanta Model School is aligned with NEP 2020 and the CBSE guidelines on the subject. It is designed to make learning mathematical concepts interactive and enjoyable.
It provides students with the tools and resources to understand formulae, gather and analyse data, and solve problems experimentally. The practices followed are assimilated with everyday situations and with the physical environment of the school, which helps to remove the fear of the subject from children's minds.
With hands-on activities and materials, the Mathematics Lab turns complex calculations into enjoyable exercises, making mathematics a subject children look forward to. The same room carries the geography collection — maps, globes, contour models and weather instruments — so that measurement and scale are taught across both subjects.
