Ramps & Lifts
Ramped entry and a step-free ground floor are in place; a passenger lift for the upper floors is part of the next phase.
The entrance is ramped with a handrail and the ground floor is step-free, with an accessible washroom. Where a child needs it, their division is timetabled to a ground-floor classroom for the year and their examinations are seated there.
A passenger lift serving the upper floors is on the plan for the next building phase and is not installed today. Until it is, the ground-floor arrangement above is how we make sure no child is kept from a lesson by a staircase.
