Music Room

Vocal and instrumental music as a timetabled subject, with keyboard, tabla, harmonium, flute and a school choir.

Music is taught, not merely rehearsed for annual day. Children learn vocal music, rhythm and notation, and take up an instrument — keyboard, flute, tabla, harmonium or a strings option — in the music room.

The choir and the school orchestra perform at assemblies and at school events, and children are prepared for inter-school music competitions.

What it holds

  • Vocal music, rhythm and notation for every grade
  • Keyboard, flute, tabla, harmonium and strings
  • School choir and small ensemble
  • Sound system and recording provision
  • Performances at assembly, annual day and competitions

Come and see the school on an ordinary day — call the office and we will keep someone free to walk you around.
