School Clubs
Eight clubs, each run by a teacher with a student secretary, meeting on a fixed day and answerable for one visible thing each term.
Children choose a club at the start of the year and stay with it, so that something can actually be built. Each club has a teacher-in-charge, a student secretary from the senior grades, a fixed meeting day, and one visible output a term — an exhibit, a performance, a wall display or a drive.
Science & Astronomy Club
Experiments beyond the syllabus, model making, the science exhibition, and night-sky observation sessions with parents invited.
Mathematics Club
Puzzles, Vedic and mental arithmetic, mathematics-day activities and inter-school olympiad preparation.
Literary & Debating Club
Debate, extempore, creative writing, the wall magazine and the school’s annual magazine.
Eco Club
The school garden and compost, waste segregation, plantation drives and the Green School audit.
Art & Craft Club
Extended studio work, mural and installation projects, and the annual exhibition of children’s work.
Music & Dance Club
Choir, ensemble and choreography, with a performance every term rather than only at annual day.
Sports Club
Skills coaching beyond the games period, inter-house league management and school-team practice.
Robotics & Computer Club
Microcontroller and sensor projects, coding challenges, and typing and digital-skills work for juniors.
Club membership is recorded on the report card as participation, with a line of comment from the teacher-in-charge. It is not graded.
