Basketball Court

A marked court on the school ground with practice hoops, used in physical education from the primary years and for inter-house matches.

Basketball is the school's main court game. The court is marked on the ground with practice hoops, and every child from the primary years upward learns dribbling, passing, shooting and — the part that actually takes time — how to play as a team.

Inter-house matches run through the year, and school teams are entered for inter-school competitions.

What it holds

  • Marked court with practice hoops on the school ground
  • Coaching within the timetabled games period
  • Inter-house league through the year
  • School teams entered for inter-school tournaments
  • Balls and bibs held for a full division

Come and see the school on an ordinary day — call the office and we will keep someone free to walk you around.
