School Admission Policy
The rules the school binds itself to when admitting a child: age criteria, order of consideration, reservations, and what is never a factor.
This policy exists so that admissions are decided the same way for every family. It is published, it is applied without exception, and any deviation must be recorded in writing with the Principal's reasons.
Age criteria

| Grades II–X | Age appropriate to the grade, with a transfer certificate |
Order of consideration where applications exceed seats
Applied in this order, and recorded for each admission cycle.
- Children of the school’s own staff
- Siblings of children already on roll
- Children residing within the school’s neighbourhood
- Children transferring on a parent’s job relocation
- All other applicants, in the order applications were received
The school binds itself to
- Admission without discrimination on grounds of caste, community, religion, gender, language or disability
- Reservation as required under the Right to Education Act for the entry class
- A published fee schedule; no capitation, donation or development charge beyond it
- No entrance examination for admission to the pre-primary and primary grades
- A dated waiting list, with the position stated honestly to parents
- Divisions kept to 25 children in pre-primary and 35 in primary
- Reasonable accommodation for a child with a disability, and support planning with the parents
- Written communication of every admission decision
What is never a factor
A parent’s occupation, position or ability to contribute beyond the published fee; the mother’s education or employment; the family’s community; or the child’s performance in an interview — the interaction is for placement, not selection.
